The WaveLight® Analyzer is a diagnostic device to support the decision-making process for personalized patient treatment paths. By calculating the individual wavefront aberrations of the eye, this device delivers measurement data for the preparation of Wavefront-Guided treatments.
The successful treatment of vision disorders requires accurate diagnosis. Developing a diagnostic device that is aligned with our laser systems was a logical step in order to assure a treatment that is right for the patient–from the beginning of diagnostics, through surgery and post-operative evaluation.
The WaveLight® Analyzer is an ideal diagnostic device to support the decision-making process for personalized patient treatment paths. It measures the complete optics of the eye and calculates the individual wavefront aberrations. Therefore it greatly enhances the range of possible treatments, from a Wavefront Optimized® procedure to sophisticated Wavefront-Guided treatments (Wavefront-Guided profiles are based on Wavefront Optimized® profiles for sphere and cylinder).
