While the medicine practiced at Stanford is among the best in the world, it is complemented by a deeply held philosophy that each individual patient has personal and emotional concerns that are just as meaningful as their physical needs. 

Patients and caregivers were directly involved in the Center's design to ensure its features accommodate the sensitivities of people with neurological disorders. From its ambient lighting and quiet waiting areas to its easy-to-navigate hallways and floor plan, the Center offers a care setting that supports patient comfort and convenience.

Coordinated Care

The Stanford Neuroscience Health Center features a streamlined patient check-in and registration system that allows visitors to schedule several appointments during one visit and move from floor to floor without additional check-ins.

Working together, our doctors, nurses, and staff offer advanced diagnostic technologies, customized therapies, and a commitment to simplifying communication and providing peace of mind.

Advancing the Standard of Care

The Center concentrates Stanford's neuroscience resources to drive new research in Alzheimer's, stroke, moyamoya, movement disorders, and other conditions. Our doctors and researchers work side-by-side to translate scientific findings into more effective diagnostic and treatment options benefiting patients worldwide. Eligible patients can gain early access to these advances through onsite clinical trials.

Our clinical trials and Neuropsychology space is also home to a NIH-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, where doctors and researchers conduct interdisciplinary studies on Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory disorders.
