1. I tell Dr. substantial, unbelievable, unexpected changes a) Eyes feel lubricated by jardiance. Since the failed rupture appendix surgery in 2006, eyes hard to closed before sleep and feel dust in eye. 2020-2025,eyes feel sticky. (Google: jardiance make liquid out of body,make eye drier. Therefore I suspect ruptured appendix in body 5 months,...which cause liver/other organs problem,.... Jardiance fix it? b) Slow run a lot! No run since no P.E. 39 yrs ago. Start 2020 only can slow run 182 - 382 steps,3 times when walk. 3/17 abnormal hot weather 87 F . run 1002,.Later run many1202,1302,.... c)Recover TV exercise a lot During 2020 covid 19 spreading I find &start Chinese Square Dance at home. I can follow YouTube. 12,2024- 2,2026 can’t finish many dance moves. e.g. hard to stand steady on one foot , kick forward, low kick the other, switch feet,.. caused by tendon is too tight?(similar to poor walk...fixed by Dr. Maclaghlin’s treatment ) Mar. I can do above again! with flexibility! Very important: it’s signal of health conditions, help to fight BG,BP issues. Nothing makes me happier than this!! I show her that right foot stand firmly,ries left foot above floor , left lower and upper legs form a 90-degree angle. Told her that many seniors in dance YouTube can’t do so,can’t bend knee. I can’t turn for 2 yrs, Now I can do some. 2. Other important change A) Changes by Jardiance - BP do lower as Dr. said. Systolic BP is steady (many120s), diastolic is reasonable (many 60s). If take losartan only diastolic many 50+, systolic fluctuate. Jardiance side effect is make BP lower. But for me it’s perfect result! One jardiance solves 2+ problems! - Jardiance make throat dry, which balances the liquid& make reflux better?I can sing,hum a song with a clear throat again!! (Cannot do so since reflux, which cause phlem on throat, liquid fill in teeth,...) B)Glowing hand, low leg skin.---> skin younger . C) Toes curling on bathtub floor! It means some function recovered . Therefore body can bounce back when tilt, instead of feet move, stand unsteady ; grip improve further than last visit; dance ,run ability great! ... 2. Dr. MacLaughlin’s exceptional clinical skills and profound medical knowledge (杰出的临床技能和深厚的医学知识。), prescriptions make me good, energy, active, better life... again now! It’s even better than 50 yrs old people. e.g. I’m 60s, much better than my coworkers (female engineer) who was at 52-56 yrs old in 1996, have heart, sleep issue, tumor, stroke,... They can’t walk so much, run, read CNBC, news,housework,... as me. I’m so thankful to Dr. MacLaughlin! 3. Dr. MacLaughlin’ prescriptions not only come from her exceptional clinical skills and profound medical knowledge but also come from talent ,super serious, diligent, hardworking, conscientious, the features that outstanding successful talent have. - When I look for doctors her high-volume publishing,background make me feel above features that 3 outstanding successful BG classmates have. Two of them have straight-100 points (much harder than straight-A ) in all tough courses. One lead national high tech project to completion with new knowledge, get National Award at 30. One is CEO of a top national General Research Institute. One is Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. After visit her, I feel that she indeed such a person. She has more drive than 30y outstanding people. - Dr. MacLaughlin’s hands-on in outpatient clinic ,frontier research make her very experience ,have the most advanced knowledge, technology. (In China top Prof. no independent reaearch,paper at 50 yrs old before 1999.) Therefore she can point out:” Your BP is high,increase losartan or add another pill. If BG still high,increase ... 5units. Increase ... from 5 unit to 8units. Jardiance make your BP drop a little, urine increase but it protect your heart,kidney. Answer Yes /no at once!” e.g. I google her words in note for meaning. Shock! AI give lot of info I never heard from Chinese,Taiwan top medical expert on TV . Dr. MacLaughlin has so profound knowlege! I think she is World-class Specialist! I google “ best diabetes Doctor, rank, MacLaughlin”,find she has GLP-1 patent, patinet’s review: “She always find the issues others can’t find.”.... Now she has Medical Trial. 4.The therapeutic effects from her make me accept modern medicine, drugs which many Chinese immigrant scary,reject based on blog. Some American too. E.g. 83 years old white never to visit Dr. since her son die after birth, by medical student’s mistake. 5. a)She is approachable. So I talk more. Aging,... make me busy,hard to have 2hrs to walk as before. Gain weight, HDL increase 1,..... She teach me a way to low BG, which come from her knowlege, I never know. b)She have insight into patients psychology, hesitation while doctors are so busy. e.g. She find that I’m scared of statins that I didn’t realize. My English poor. I write symptom log,question, google English to communicate easily, find facts quickly if Dr. ask, avoid forget something. I do worry that cause inconvenience to Doctors. Dr McLaughlin:” keep your log,check BP “ make me worry free! It also make me think, watch, improve. I don’t know how she find my worry. c)She insist to wait me to tie shoes, send me to check out, say: print visit summery, appointment,.... d) Dr.’s office and Paras make great efforts ,time to solve jardience, lipitor problems, Costco tell me: “Jardience is expensive, insurance let you take metformin. Insurance don’t cover lipitor “ I say: “Dr McLaughlin just cut metformin ,save me from worst reflux.The dosage and administration of Lipitor come from Dr. McLaughlin’s technique,which get 15mg/d result”. Paras Barnett’s message:”Costco Pharmacy informed us that Empagliflozin is not first line for coverage.
