Before your stay

It’s helpful to pack your hospital bag several weeks before your due date. Your packing list (.pdf) might include: 

Going home

Your care team prepares you and your baby to leave the hospital safely. As you get ready to go:

  • Both you and your baby have a checkup the morning you are discharged.
  • Your nurse provides straightforward instructions to follow at home.
  • You can get breastfeeding help from our board-certified lactation consultants, in-person or virtually, by calling 925-416-3598 Monday through Friday.
