Dr. Damrose is and has been essential to my well-being over the years. He is extremely busy but never appears too busy to talk, to explain, to consider options and share medical knowledge. It blows my mind that he pays such careful attention and remembrance to my particular situation and my particular larynx when he is responsible for so much besides. I'm certain he pays this kind of attention to everything, and that's superb medicine. Those treated by him or responsible to him are endlessly fortunate.

SHC Patient, Feb 2019
I have great respect for Dr.Damrose and feel fortunate that I can receive his services. Over the years I have encountered many physicians who are not willing to listen to questions which I have regarding new treatment practices and the efficacy of these as they would apply to my medical issue. I need transparency from my physicians, he provides this and I have trust in his care. He also takes the time to walk me through endoscopy procedures explaining what we are observing at each step. He is excellent at reducing anxiety by describing the details of your anatomy and what you may expect to feel as he proceeds. Dr. Damrose will also admit when he doesn't know something! What a humble physician! He's an excellent professor!

I believe Dr. Damrose has something that many physicians over look, the value of just listening to the patient. Everyone needs someone to discuss their concerns. And to have the other party express and concern. The ability to answer a patients question with interest and reply with in a way that shows the patients questions are important. Once again showing concern. How often in a day do we actually run in to a person who takes the time to really care?
