Imaging & Radiology
Our radiology team offers advanced digital imaging in a personal and friendly environment. We use x-rays and ultrasound to evaluate and screen for diseases. Our team is committed to ensuring that your experience is as easy and comfortable as possible.
We provide services to adults and children including:
General x-rays (such as chest, extremities, spine, and sinus)
Mammography (screening and diagnostic studies)
Ultrasound (such as abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, and breast)
A board certified radiologist will review and interpret your results and a written report will be sent to your doctor. If there is another provider to whom you would like this information sent, please provide their name, fax number, and address to our front desk staff at the time of your visit.
Prior to your visit, please read these helpful tips:
If there is any possibility that you are pregnant, please inform your referring physician before your appointment and always inform the x-ray technologist. (A pregnancy test can be performed ahead of time. If your appointment is not urgent, it can be rescheduled for an appropriate time in your menstrual cycle.)
Please be prompt for scheduled appointments and bring the requisition given to you by your doctor.
For your ultrasound, please follow the instructions carefully. These instructions may include fasting or drinking water prior to your study.
For your mammogram, please bring any old images you have or arrange to have old images sent to us prior to your appointment. It is a good idea to check with your insurer ahead of time to find out how often they will cover mammograms. This is important because some insurance plans will not cover screening mammography if it has been less than a year (even by one day) since your last mammogram. You will be asked to remove deodorant prior to the mammogram.
Please be sure to download the appropriate forms prior to visiting a UHA medical group. You may download the following PDF files and open them using the free online program, Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
